Built in 1859 and rebuilt in 1983, the unique
feature of this Southern Indian temple is the roof with
48 engraved glass panels which are angled to catch the rising
and setting sun. The temple traditionally sees the culmination
of the Thaipusam procession as well as the Navarathiri Festival.
