Singapore Food Festival
As if the island's buffet line of exotic food isn't enough,
there's the annual Singapore Food Festival (1-31 July 2004).
Something to satisfy everyone's craving will be offered by
local as well as international cuisine.

Food Festival are food tours, demonstrations and classes conducted
by world-renowned chefs and joint food-oriented promotions
with major hotels and shopping centres. Keep an eye out for

Food Tours
Another fun way to explore and discover the variety
of cuisine available in Singapore is to take a food tour.
Try the 'Flavours of Singapore' Tour that begins at the Spice
Garden (the original site of the first Botanic Gardens) Following
which, you will get to sample spicy Indian cuisine and Peranakan
fare as the tour brings you to the ethnic areas of Little
India and Chinatown.

Studio
Besides being poised to make its culinary stand as
a fine dining bistro, the Coriander Leaf strives to establish
itself as a centre for different food-related activities,
namely a culinary school. Coriander Leaf emphasizes home cooking.
The half-day culinary courses in a studio setting highlight
the best in South Asian, South-East Asian, Middle Eastern
and fusion cooking.

Culinary Art @ People's Association
Dazzle your friends back home with recipes from the
kitchens of Singapore. Learn how to whip up a tasty meal of
spicy assam fish, finger-licking chicken rendang or delicious
pineapple tarts.
Raffles Culinary Academy
More than a cooking school, the prestigious Raffles Culinary
Academy also conducts lifestyle classes covering a range of
topics such as wines and etiquette, how to plan a party, home
dining, as well as lessons on oyster and foie gras appreciation.
The classes are introductory and recreational in nature, each
lasting two to four hours. There are classes almost every
day (except Sundays and Mondays).
